Annual Arts Summit | Advancing Sarasota’s Creative Future

The Annual Arts Summit is a signature gathering convened by the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, bringing together artists, arts organizations, creative businesses, educators, philanthropists, civic leaders, and community partners to explore the role of creativity in shaping our region.

Each year, the Summit creates space for meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges facing our community while highlighting the many ways arts and culture contribute to Sarasota’s quality of life, economic vitality, cultural tourism, and sense of place. Through keynote speakers, presentations, performances, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees are encouraged to think beyond their individual sectors and engage in conversations about our collective future.

The Summit serves as both a celebration of Sarasota’s creative strengths and a forum for imagining what comes next.

Looking Back: 2026 Arts Summit

The 2026 Arts Summit brought together community leaders, artists, advocates, and cultural organizations at the Mertz Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts for an energizing afternoon focused on advancing Sarasota’s creative future. Discussions explored topics including the impact of the arts on community well-being, the role of creativity in fostering connection, and strategies for supporting the creative workforce through initiatives such as affordable housing. Attendees also enjoyed performances from several local arts organizations, demonstrating the depth and diversity of Sarasota’s cultural community.

Thank you to our sponsors, presenters, performers, volunteers, and attendees who helped make the 2026 Summit a success.
