Winning poster will be recognized at the Arts on the Green event
and the poster will be used for promoting

Arts on the Green Poster contest rules:
The contest runs from August 1, 2019 until September 19, 2019 and is open to anyone who wishes to share their artistic creativity to promote this year’s theme. The winning poster will serve as the 2019 Arts on the Green Poster. We invite industry professionals to join in the fun, along with students, youth groups, artists, and adults. Whether or not you have been involved in Arts on the Green in the past, we want you to participate this year.
60th Anniversary of the City of North Port. The Poster Should encapsulate the past 60 years of North Port History.
Posters must be the artists own original work and free of all copyrighted material. Posters must be a minimum of 8 ½” x 11” and a maximum of 11” x 17 “. The artwork may be of any medium (painting, drawing, photography, digital art, etc.) as long as it is two-dimensional. Keep in mind posters will likely be on public display and should be easy to see or read.
The Poster Contest winner will have his/her poster reproduced and distributed. It will be the official 2019 Arts on the Green poster and featured on the City of North Ports website. The winning “poster artist” will have his/her name posted on the City of North Port’s website/Facebook and will be included on all print material and in any Arts on the Green press releases in association with our Annual Arts on the Green. The winner will be recognized at the Arts on the Green event on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
For digital art or graphic design submissions, the design must be at least 300 dpi and RGB color, and all fonts must be embedded. All digital or graphic designs must be submitted as a JPEG or PDF to firstname.lastname@example.org

The contest begins on August 1, 2019 and continues until August 31, 2019.
No entries will be accepted after August 31, 2019
Winner will be chosen by the City of North Port’s Parks & Recreation Advisory Board on Monday, September 19, 2019. This is YOUR opportunity to display your creative talent and encapsulate the past 60 years of North Port history!
Please remember: all entries must meet the poster requirements specified above. All artwork submitted becomes the property of the City of North Port, and may be reproduced.
