The Avenue of Art is a free self-guided walking tour open 24/7 of curated hand-painted sidewalks in downtown Sarasota. The artwork celebrates Sarasota County Centennial. Each painting has a QR code for spectators to click on to read about the history of Sarasota County, the artist that painted the artwork, Contributors and more. The tour starts at 500 S. Orange Avenue (intersection of S. Orange and Laurel Street) and continues for 4 blocks.
