The Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota presents British Night with music by Elgar, Perry, Holst, and more. Hubert Perry’s English Suite opens the concert, followed by Gustav Holst’s Fugal Concerto with soloists Nicholas Arbolino and Carmen Bannon. The program also features music associated with four Shakespeare plays: Hamlet, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Henry V, and Julius Caesar with music by Tchaikovsky, Purcell, Handel, and Walton. There will be a free “Meet the Artists” reception after the concert.
