Clyde Butcher is an award-winning American photographer renowned for his large format black and white, primeval wilderness photography of the Florida landscape. He is a strong advocate of conservation efforts and uses his work to promote awareness of the beauty of natural places. Considered the Ansel Adams of Florida, he will always be identified with the Everglades, but he is deeply committed to recording precious landscapes throughout the world. Join us for a presentation by his daughter, Jackie Obendorf, who will share stories about her father’s fascinating artistic journey and show examples of his stunning images.
