This exhibition shines a bright light on the spectrum of Black artistic practices from the early 20thcentury to present day. Explore the stylistic evolutions powerfully expressed in the works of 20 African American artists including Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Richard Mayhew, Faith Ringgold, Kara Walker, and many more. Including vibrant paintings, quilts, prints, sculpture and drawings, this exhibition is a rare opportunity to view historical reflections and contributions of cultural importance.
