Marketing and Event Coordinator

MUSIC COMPOUND IS LOOKING FOR A MARKETING AND EVENT COORDINATOR: Salary: $30,000 annually with bonus compensation/Full time/Start date: August 2017.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Front office operations: o Greet members. o Give tours. o Process payments. o Process payment reminders. o Answer phone. o Handle scheduling. o Confirm appointments. o Process requests. o Assist manager with tasks. o Website updates. Social media marketing: o Develop an outreach plan on all platforms. o Schedule postings. o Research content for posts. o Upload photos weekly. o Increase followers on all platforms. o Create event pages. Events: o Create all Eventbrite pages. o Link all Eventbrite pages to social media and website. o Implement marketing plan. o Sponsorship sales. o Coordinate vendors. o Source vendors. o Manage event spreadsheets. o Source volunteers. o Handle day of logistics. o Represent MC at local chamber events. o Attend and manage trade shows. Sales: o Increase membership sales. Adults. Camps. Workshops: o Business partnership sales. o Event sponsorships. o Retiree program. o Studio 32. Hours: Flexible. Monday thru Thursday 2-7/8 PM and weekends (Friday, Saturday and or Sunday). Requirements: Applicants must have a 2 year degree related to position. Applicants must have one or more years’ experience in the following: • Event management, • Marketing, • Sales.
