SPAACES is dedicated to the idea that the arts enhance the overall quality of life in Sarasota. In 2020, ArtPlace America released their Vibrancy Indicator research, verifying the essential role the arts play in fueling community development, emotional health, cultural literacy, social cohesion, and creative expression in urban environments. If awarded, this grant allows SPAACES to grow and strengthen, nourishing both local and visiting artists, improving their quality of life as well as that of the broader Sarasota community.
