Ringling Museum, Admissions Assistant Supervisor

This position oversees the Group Sales process and serves as the shift supervisor for Admissions and Group Sales. This position also assists the Admissions Manager with training, scheduling, and interviewing part-time Admissions staff.

Provides information on reservation arrivals, ensures efficient, high quality customer service is being provided. Monitors all Admissions areas to maintain safe, clean conditions. Maintains and replenishes supplies at work stations. Makes policy and customer service decisions in the absence of the Admissions Manager. Provides secondary cash counts for closing drawers and assist with investigating outages in the absence of the Admission Manager. Serves as back-up cashier as needed.

Enforces cash handling and PCI policies. Reinforces sales training and makes sure staff is promoting programs and activities identified by the Admissions Manager. Assists with ensuring daily coverage for Admissions and the Member Services counter.

Manages all Summer Circus Spectacular Camp Groups from inquiry to post-visit evaluations. Works with Historic Asolo Theater Box Office Manager and House Manager for seating assignments for camps.

Collects Comment Cards from Museum of Art and Visitor Pavilion. Inputs data from cards into documents and e-mail to appropriate stakeholders.

Point of Contact for Photo Shoots on campus. Responds to inquiries, takes payments, and works with Event and Security department to prevent scheduling conflicts. Serves as back-up for Admissions ticketing database administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
• Prior supervisory experience.

Anticipated salary is up to $30,000 + Florida state benefits available.
