Opportunity
Serves as the curator of the museum’s art of performance programming and production venues including New Stages, interdepartmental collaborations, and selected exhibition-driven projects. This position is responsible for the development and delivery of The Ringling’s performance programming, encompassing music, theater, dance, film, and spoken word, as well as the managerial functions of performance programs and production venues.

Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization, such as theater, art history or other closely related area, with a demonstrated record of achievement in research, teaching, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment which is equivalent to that required of the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

At least 4 years of experience in performance, entertainment, fine arts, or a related field.

Experience in programming and scholarship.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
