The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Seeks WEB Community Outreach Coordinator
Opportunity The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating The Ringling Where Everyone Belongs (W.E.B.) program, an initiative to engage low-income and underrepresented families in our community.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.
Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Knowledge of art/art education field.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of event planning and ability to coordinate, organize, and evaluate meetings and/or events.
Knowledge of and ability to apply the processes, procedures, and methods used in museum operations in compliance with applicable governing entities such as the American Alliance of Museums.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Salary commensurate with experience (anticipated range of high $30,000s to low $40,000s ) + Florida state benefits available.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
